It’s been some months in the making (“The best things come to those who wait” -as the say), but we’re proud to say Dartmouth General Contractor’s Ltd’s newly designed brochure has been printed and delivered, and their CMS driven website is live.
We worked closely with Dartmouth General Contractors Limited, recommending a binding system for their brochure that will allow them to highly customise the content for their prospective client. With a plastic screw binding system, in keeping with the nature of their business, they can add or remove existing pages or quickly produce new pages and add them as needed.
The covers of the brochures are pre-scored to ease opening and reading of the inner pages. They also have semi-opaque sheets near the inside front and back covers to add some additional texture and stand-out.
The design of the brochure has been used to influence the look and feel of the website, which is a Content Management System (CMS), enabling Dartmouth to edit and add pages or clients as needed. Clients can be filtered by sector so visitors can easily see what area they’re interested in. The responsive website is designed to be viewed on any device, from smart phone through tablet or large screen desktop.
A essential part of the project was image and copy editing the content in the brochure and relevant website pages, ensuring there was consistency across the channels during the building process, and going into the future.
We really enjoyed working with Dartmouth to simultaneously launch their website and brochure, ensuring both share design consistency whilst taking advantage of the unique features of both print and online.
