We at Diguru Ltd are committed to respecting your online privacy and recognise your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you share with us.

Diguru Ltd does not intend to transfer Personal Information without your consent to third parties who are not bound to act on our behalf unless such transfer is legally required.

Comments

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When using our contact form we collect the following information which is directly provided by the user; their name, email address, telephone number and message itself.  The information provided is only used to reply or for direct contact with the user. Email newsletters

If you are a business and have previously purchased from us, or you have opted in to receive our email newsletter we will occasionally contact you with relevant offers and news regarding our business. Your email and name are shared with our email newsletter provider MailChimp. Our email newsletters contain an unsubscribe link should you not wish to receive future emails. We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use diguru-uk.com. We do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements.

We only share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you. This includes PayPal and delivery services such as TNT, DPD or Royal Mail.

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see and edit their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. A user can request their account is deleted by emailing us at privacy@diguru-uk.com.

Analytics data is sent to Google servers around the world. This data is safeguarded to European data protection standards.

Payment data is sent to PayPal in the UK and USA, who comply with European data protection standards.

Data sent to MailChimp is sent to their servers in the USA, and complies with European data protection standards.

Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service.
